The Luau

We had a Luau with Kait's friends to celebrate her 5th birthday! Here the kids are making lei bracelets and coloring picture frames. We had a yummy dinner and played games as well. Kait has the nicest, cutest friends! Sorry for so many pictures and so few words!

Lunch

Just a funny story to share.
I have been making B's lunches almost all the time since school began. I tried to have him do it but somehow it seemed easier to just do it myself. (Isn't that the truth for a lot of chores!) Anyway, since going back to work and making a lunch for myself I decided that he was going to be in charge of his own. Do you know what he said??
"Good! You always pack me way too much!"
Yes B, I'm so sorry I gave you too much to eat for lunch.
So here we have what B packed for his lunch:
Yogurt, chocolate pudding, spoon, 2 cookies, licorice maybe 3 pieces, and about 4 pringles chips. (Yes I had him add a sandwich!) oh and I arranged the food for the picture- he didn't do that.

Egg Hunt

Lots of eggs!

I had to post these pictures because the cute little boy next to Kait has a little crush on her. Isn't he sweet! And Yes I let her dress herself and that is why she is wearing stripes and plaid!

Ry figured out what was going on pretty quick and did not want to share his eggs after that!

Pinewood Derby

B's car is the black one in the guys hand. Somehow I didn't get a picture of it.

Here we are at B's first Pinewood Derby.

Happy Easter

Kait's new Easter dress. Can you tell she loves it?

If you look closely B has what we call "Swiss cheese teeth."

These pictures were taken the Sunday before Easter. Most of us stayed home sick on Easter due to the stomach flu.

Cinderella Play

For preschool we went to a play of Cinderella! The girls loved it and were really good the entire time. Ryan was not so good and we had to wander the halls for a bit of it. It has been a super long time since I have seen a play and I found it very enjoyable!

Scouts

Braden started scouts. This is his first Blue & Gold Dinner. He had to make a poster about a park so he chose Zion's Nation Park!

Here's Braden in a contest to find his piece of gum and blow the first bubble... He didn't win but had fun trying as he ate the whipped cream.

Bubby

Dear Bubby,
You are such a cute one these days. You like to play, play, play. You can build towers with blocks, throw and kick balls, jump on the trampoline, go on walks, watch T.V., and follow around Kait and B and do whatever they do. You are learning new words everyday. You can say "No, No, No" while shaking your pointer finger and to ask for your favorite show you say, "The A says qua." The video is called The Letter Factory and teaches what sound each letter says. You ask for "shoes" and "walk" and "bottle" and "ips" for chips. You also love candy! You will throw a tantrum if you see candy and do not get some. (Just like your mom would if it happened to her.) You love to jump or try to jump anyway since you can't quite get off the ground unless you are on the tramp. You still love your "binks" (pacifier/binky), and every animal is a kitty-meow although you can also say Moo and Oink. You love to color, play plah-doh, run in circles and walk backwards. You can say ball, balloon, up, down, block, baby, and more. You love to climb on everything including the couch, chairs, and tables. I took the funniest video of you today. You normally take a nap at 1 or 1:30 but church does not end until 2. We fed you lunch and you fell asleep while eating. You were chewing and your eyes would close until you finally just fell right asleep right there with a cheeto hanging from your lip. I'm hoping to win America's Funniest Home Video's with it - if that show is still around! You love your Mom a lot but you REALLY super love your Dad! You go running when he comes in the door saying Da, Da, Da over and over until he picks you up! Then you follow him around for a while and you always are sad when he leaves. I better add that you also love and can say apples and bananas (nanas)! Since it sounds like I feed you chips and candy! You also will walk to your bed when you are tired and ready for bed. Your big brown eyes are so handsome- strangers comment on them! They say you look like a doll! To us you are a doll! You have just a fun personality! We love you so much!

The Beach

Poor Jake had to work... but the rest of us got to play! We went with some friends to Deception Pass and took a hike, saw an eagle, climbed on rocks and logs, ate lunch (thanks Brook!) and enjoyed the beach! It was fantastic to get outside again and enjoy the sunshine although it was a little cold. You can tell the babies have cold noses and fingers. We can NOT wait until summer and many more trips back!
