Hair Cut for Kait

Before...

Can you believe how long her hair was?! She wanted to cut it and was super excited to go to a salon.
If you look close you can see Ry and I in the mirror.
Hair is shorter... getting a blow dry, flat iron, & GLITTER!

She loves it! I love it! It is much easier to take care of and it is growing back pretty quickly. I tell her that her vitamins help it grow! I was not sad at all although I have to admit I did keep a braid of the hair we cut off since it was her baby hair!

I like frogs, bugs, and mud

Ry is 14 months now (in a few days). He can say bye bye (buh bye), Mama, dada, all done... He looks at books all by himself. I thought of Melissa when I bought him these pj's. Although you can't see the frog on the side in the pictures. He is getting so big and into a bit more trouble. He is mostly sweet though and although he spent his first year crying- now he is pretty happy all of the time!! He is getting two molars on top though that are half in-half out. Ouch! He is sleeping through the night almost every night now. (Sorry Heidi and Michael- it took this long for me! Use that book- it works!)
Ry's FAVORITE thing is to be outside. He crawls and walks, eats dirt if he gets the chance, climbs on the back of the basketball hoop, plays with toy cars, writes with the chalk, eats the chalk, LOVES the trampoline and he even likes getting bounced into the air just a little bit. He is trying to walk on it all mummy like and I'm afraid he is going to walk off the edge (don't worry I'm right next to him!) but gravity pulls him in a circle so he just keeps walking. I'll have to post a video as it is really funny!

Ry loves to push all buttons! The TV, the Xbox, the remote, any toy, my keyboard, and my personal favorite: the off button on my computer.

Are there rules about cutting a boys hair? If you look close its curly! I love it. And I do not want to cut it. I guess I can do whatever I want! I was just thinking that I have NEVER cut Kait's hair. Not once. Although I am getting really close. So close you might just see a blog about it in the near future. It simply is getting to hard to brush the tangles. Maybe I could manage a trim. Please try not to worry about my sanity because I am somehow emotionally attached to Kait's hair. I want her to stay little. Cutting her hair will make her look bigger at least to me.

Hair!

Sorry Mom for the confession in advance. My Mom told us that she would not dye her hair. NOPE. She was going to go grey and be proud. And then She started going grey and even white. (Which is good because white is much better than grey). Oh mother nature why do this to us? We all want to look YOUNG forever! So Now I have the fun of getting my hair done with my Mom! We went to Envy salon and had a good time. Although for some reason it took forever... maybe because she had us as clients already and then somehow cut some guys hair in the middle of it all?! That was BAD planning! We both left looking pretty. Although I don't think either of us is 100% happy... oh well the beauty of it is that hair just keeps on growing... so we have to keep on paying... and can try for the perfect cut and color next time!

Mt. Stiletto

Jake went and climbed a mountain with his friends. It was a hard long climb but it was beautiful the entire time! You will have to ask him for more details then this. He is ready to go again soon! Not me! I'm way to out of shape to climb a mountain!
