Hair Cut

KK lost her other bottom tooth!

and she looked like this (she looks a little country singer in this one to me)
and this
until we did THIS

Love it!!!!! and so does she! and she brushes it all on her own!

I could probably write an entire novel on the things KK does. She certainly thinks that she doesn't have to follow the rules. They must not be made for her. And any amount of punishment doesn't work either. I finally just think that she is a "curious cat" type. She just can't stop herself from exploring the unexplored. I could post everyday about the escapade of the morning usually while mom is still sleeping, but it isn't really that funny to me. But in hoping someone has some parenting advice I think I may explain a bit: she eats anything but cereal for breakfast (which is allowed)- Cheetos, ice cream, chocolate milk or lemonade or cinnamon toast made by her, cookies, pudding, even cheese... in my front room instead of at the table (explains the chocolate stains and the syrup spots there and the shredded cheese down the couch and the sugar all over the kitchen) and there is currently a sign on the front door that reads many many times over in her handwriting "I will not go out front without an adult" and I make sure and put anything I don't want her to go through away in my room such as my purse. There are a few stories of Jake that sound quite similar- like when he went door to door in his apartment building with a notebook asking for the neighbors phone numbers... I'm hoping she grows out of this fast!

Bubby update

Bubby is still such a nice boy, but he has become quite a whiner. He has discovered what I would call his sense of "self" and he doesn't like to be told what to do or when to do it. He wants things his way and at his time. He also prefers to just wear underwear. He still falls asleep while eating though! It is just too funny! We have a good time with the older kids gone, but he is very sad that he is not also going to school. I opted to not do preschool until next year. I am already in the car so much. He does the funniest thing (unless it is directed at you- which is usually Jake or the baby). He puts his food up in your face and tries to feed you or he will grab at your face and poke at it. Who knows what he is thinking about it. I guess he just takes after his Dad and likes to bug. This morning it ended up with Jake having an entire bowl of cereal in his lap.

Baby Allie Overload

I have so many pictures of Allison! Even extra since Braden loves to take her picture also. She started out the perfect little sleepy newborn that never ever cried! At about 3 weeks or so she started having tummy troubles and spitting up and such. Leading to sleeping troubles. But I went back to my two favorite baby books and established a flexible schedule feeding her less at each feeding and making sure to swaddle her tight and that helped a lot! She loves to be warm! and loves load white noises. Even Braden has the shh shh shh down when bouncing her to get her to go to sleep. =) The bathroom fan is her favorite though! Now at about 2 1/2 months she is doing a ton better and isn't too much of a crier. She sounds much more like a cat whining when she wants something. She is currently 12 pounds 8 1/2 ounces! Her chubby cheeks will attest to that! Kaitlin likes to hold her as well as Braden, but Ryan really has taken a great interest in her. Unfortunately, he mostly likes to poke her in the face and get really close to her with toys. We have spent a lot of the summer at home having a new baby (I didn't want germs!) and trying to go anywhere with my parade of 4 kids just didn't appeal to me much. We did go to weekly park days for the most part and hung out with friends.
Allie found her hands! She loves to suck on them and hates all pacifiers! She also will lay on her play mat and look up at the toys for short bits of time so I can make dinner and even eat it! I can't remember that ever really working with the other kids! They would cry the minute they were put down. She is such a wonderful beautiful baby girl! We Love her!

World's Best Babysitter

Braden with his DS!
On a more serious note: Braden is a wonderful help and he truly loves holding Allie. He asks to hold her all of the time and now that she has some limited neck and head control I let him carry her around. He even is able to bounce her to sleep!
Shh Shh Shh
Couldn't get by without a Mr Funny Man pose!
