Another Update Post

Sad... that's me... without any big excuse for not blogging yet again. Hope you all can forgive me!!

With the kids starting school it just makes things feel worse though since the next blog post in my head had to do with their teacher gifts from last year... yeah cake balls! They were FAB! B learned how to dip and shake um. KK's teachers emailed for the recipe so I know someone ate them too!

We took a fun but quick trip to Seaside Oregon. It was awesome. Although KK came down with a fever and had to be drugged. As long as we kept on top of it she had fun and all the kids slept in the car. (There was the last two hours where Allie cried but I'm trying to forget those). We walked and played on the beach, Allie crawled and ate the sand, the kids did bumper cars, and our hotel had a neat little balcony so Jake and I sat out there and watched the sun set and then a movie after the kids went to bed. We had yummy food and the kids loved the hot tub.

Allie has grown and grown... she CLIMBS (she mastered this before even trying to walk), she WALKS, she talks... she can say Ma, Da, KK, Bu-Bye, Ball, Balloon, Hi, more, milk, shoe, No-no, uh-oh, tickle-tickle. She is a lover and gives lots of loves too! I remember KK was so good at balancing and we didn't worry about her climbing. Allie is not so lucky. She LOVES it but she falls on everything. If there is something to run into then she does. The poor thing is covered in bruises. She also LOVES outside. She also turned one! Happy happy birthday!

KK lost another bottom tooth! It is finally coming in now.

We grew some yummy raspberries this year!

and Our FAVORITE FAVORITE people came to visit! and lucky KK and B got to go spend a glorious week and a half with them in Utah! We love you Grandpa John, Grandma Shanna, Grandma "Poop's," Annie, & Sarah too!

Number 4

Bubby turned four! He went around the day before and told everyone that it was his birthday tomorrow. I am pretty sure this is the first birthday he will remember and he sure LOVES green! So I made it a green day.

Bubby loves playing with friends. He loves lining up all of his guys and have them fight each other- little green army guys, castle guys, or playmobile guys. (I can't believe I don't have a picture of this! I will get one!) He must be into funny faces too since all these pictures have them. He says amen when you come to the end of a book. He is pretty easy going unless you ask him to do something that is not on his time table. He is a slow eater and still loves to fall asleep while eating. He must be growing lately too since occasionally he will fall asleep in the later afternoon. He does seem taller to me! He has known his letters and sounds for a while and now is starting to write them and sound out words! I bought a really yummy cookie cake with green frosting. I never thought about doing that but YUM! Chocolate cookie frosted - you can't go wrong! Talk about sugar rush! We told him he could pick where-ever he wanted for his birthday dinner. He chose McDonalds with the play toy. He could not be persuaded to go anywhere else. He really did have a great time there too! (The rest of us wanted something more edible!) Although they do have a new Rolo McFlurry which Jake and I tried. It was yummy. I decided I don't really like to eat candy in ice cream because it makes it too hard to chew. It left me wanting some Rolo's.

Summer!

Summer MIGHT be here...finally... some of the yummy produce is here.

and a Trip to Deception Pass is in order!

Allie's first time to the beach! She ate some sand... but loved being outside!

Silhouettes

I read that you should take down pictures of your actual family members when staging a house so I took a bunch down... but these frames had to have something in them. So I copied an idea I saw on a blog and created our family silhouettes! (They may or may not be our actual profiles. I plead the 5th).

Did you know that creating real silhouettes is done with a black piece of paper and scissors- they actually just look at you and cut it out. There are not many who can still do this. What a talent!

For Sale

Jake thinks its funny that I sell things on Craigslist. He likes to joke about how I sold SAND yep bags of sand out of our backyard. This is a true story and it was to a pregnant lady no less who tried to carry them herself. They are heavy! Back to the point though... I have sold a lot of stuff but it is only to get ready for this:

House staging... I think my pictures are better than the ones on the website. Ignore those. They still show a mess!
